The APPRENTICESHIP is an ideal program for learners interested in trying out a farming experience.  Time commitment is low – apprentices can come for just a week or stay an entire season.  Apprentices learn the basics of farming by the season – a great opportunity to gain college credit for a rewarding experience.  Learn more….

The INTERNSHIP program is a good match for people with some farming experience, but with a desire to learn more.  Interns must commit to six weeks on the farm, doing whatever projects the staff is organizing at the time.  An internship is a great way to see if a long-term residential role at D Acres may be right for you.  Learn more…

The RESIDENTS program is great for people with skills and experience in farming, animal husbandry, forestry, woodworking, graphic design, grantwriting, crafts, food preparation and preservation and/or gardening.  Residents enjoy the freedom of doing what they enjoy for a season or more without the responsibility of managing others.  Learn more…
